By road from the East (A303 Westbound)

Exit the A303 at the B3081 signposted to Penselwood. Turn right under the A303 and take the next left turning. Turn right at Hunters Lodge continuing on the B3081. Upon reaching Bruton, drive under the railway bridge and with St Mary’s church on your left, turn left onto the A359 one way system. At the T-junction, turn left and follow the road out of Bruton. Sexey’s School is situated 0.5 kms outside Bruton on the right hand side.

By road from the West

Take the A303 Eastbound. 500m past the Sparkford junction of the A303 (roundabout) take the left exit for Frome. Follow the A359 towards Bruton. Sexey’s School is located on the left hand side of the A359, 0.5 kms before Bruton town centre.

By road from the M4

Exit the M4 at junction 17 (Chippenham A350). Continue on the A350 and turn onto the A361 signposted to Trowbridge and Frome. After Frome, turn left onto the A359 signposted to Bruton. Drive through Bruton on the A359. Sexey’s School is situated 0.5 kms outside Bruton on the right hand side.

By rail

Castle Cary station is 1 hour 35 minutes from London Paddington and is a 10 minute taxi ride to school. Bruton station is accessible by trains from Bristol and Bath and is situated 1.0 km from the school.

Visitor car parking

Visitor car parking is provided at the top of the school drive and in the additional car park 150m west of the school entrance.

On arrival

Please proceed to Reception located in the main school building, signposted from the car parks.

Beautiful Bruton

Recently Bruton was named ‘Hippest’ place to live by The Times newspaper, and has received a lot of positive press listing its many attractions, including world class contemporary art centre, Hauser & Wirth. The Roth Bar & Grill at Hauser & Wirth also have a cocktail named in honour of the school – The Sexey’s. The area around the town is home to an array of quality food producers, with cheese being a particular speciality. Godminster Cheese in the town, and Wyke Farms in near by Wyke Champflower, being major player in both the artisan and mass production markets.
